12.0pt'>It’s been pointed out to me that Richard Pombo (R-Tracy) already
has introduced legislation to destroy ESA. It is titled, Endangered Species
Recovery and Reauthorization Act of 2005. Interesting how these bills are
titled. One could believe this proposed legislation related to improving the
fate of endangered wildlife or to improving allocation of developed water in
our state (Nunes’ bill). Knowledge of the thinking of the authors puts
a quick end to such thoughts. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
